Q. What is a Memory Mate?
A. It is collage that combines your dancer's individual picture with the group picture of all the dancers. It will also have your dancer's name on it, so make sure you double check the spelling of your dancer's name on your order form.
Q. What should I do about my dancer's hair/makeup for pictures?
A. Hair/Makeup decisions are entirely up to each parent. If you check with your dancer's teacher she will be able to tell you what hairstyle she is recommending each dancer wear for their dance. You do not have to put makeup on your dancer for his/her pictures, but the majority of parents do put light makeup on their dancers for picture day.
Q. Can my children be photographed together in a picture?
A. Absolutely! Just indicate on your order form that you would like your children to be photographed together instead of individually.
Q. What background will be in the pictures?
A. We will be using a black background to photograph all of the dance pictures.
Q. My child is in multiple dances. How does that work?
A. You will need to fill out a separate form for each dance your child is in. (If you would like, you can fill out the dancer's name/personal information on one form and then photocopy it so you only have to change the dance information for each additional dance your child is in.) You can pay with only one check if you would like or by credit card on picture day.
Q. What is blemish retouching?
A. Blemish Retouching removes any blemishes on the face and smooths out the skin on your dancers face. It does not remove braces/retainers etc.
Q. How will my child be posed?
A. The dance teachers will be there on picture day and they will be posing each dancer.
Q. Is there Sales Tax in addition to the prices I see on the order form?
A. No. All the prices on the order form have NY State Sales Tax already figured in.
Q. Can I reorder more pictures after my initial order comes in?   
A. Yes, all of the pictures will be put online in a password protected proofing gallery. You will be able to order additional prints online and have them shipped directly to your house. You will not be able to order memory mates, statuettes, keychains etc on the proofing site so be sure to order those items with your regular order.
Q. When will my order be ready?
A. Orders will be available for pickup all the days of the Dress Rehearsal for the Recital. Any pictures not picked up during the Dress Rehearsal will be given back to Miss Sue and you may contact her to find out her availability to pick up your order.
Q. Can I come and watch my child get her picture taken and take my own pictures during his/her session?
A. In order to get each dance through as quickly and efficiently as possible, it is Miss Sue's policy to have all parents remain in the waiting area.
Q. How do I pay for my order?
A. Bring your order form on picture day and you can pay via check or credit card. (There is a $30 fee for bounced checks.) We are unable to fulfill any orders that are not paid for on picture day.
